July Newsletter

President's Message

Janet Collins

I continue to be in awe of Impact 100, our members, and the difference we can make in our community. After last month’s Meet the Finalists event, one attendee remarked how nice it was to leave an event filled with so much joy. What a wonderful testament to what we can do together. And there’s much more to come.

As you read this month’s newsletter, you’ll discover how we continue to listen, learn, and lead, from updating our brand (logo and website) and improving our communication with finalists, to reimagining recruiting and revising our membership structure for greater equity and opportunity.

Read more about how we are evolving and striving to stay relevant as THE place where women come together to change lives.

Annual Awards Celebration, Sept. 25 - Register Now!

Registration is now open for the Annual Awards Celebration (AAC), Sept. 25, at Music Hall. It’s going to be a grand celebration of our six finalists, including the announcement of all four $100,000 grants and two Extend Your Impact awards.

Remember, we are doing things a little differently this year. After a thorough analysis of member and finalist feedback, we will be closing our selections portal on Sept. 4 in order to notify finalists with results three weeks in advance.

Mark your calendar to save time between Aug. 21 - Sept. 4 to cast your ballot. Read more about what’s changing and why.

There was so much to love about last month’s Meet the Finalist event – the beautiful space, the fabulous food, the record attendance and of course meeting our six incredible finalists, but the part that warmed my heart the most was… read more.

Volunteer with Upspring, A 2024 Grant Recipient

We have a special opportunity to support Upspring, one of our 2024 grant recipients, during their impactful summer camp for children experiencing homelessness.

On Wednesday, July 10, Impact 100 members are invited to make a difference by:

  • Donating toward a fun lunch of Raising Cane’s for 55 campers (just $6 per meal)
  • Volunteering at the Fairfield location to help serve and enjoy lunch with the kids

Your involvement, whether through time or a small donation, helps brighten a child’s day and reminds them they are seen and supported.

Taking Our Message to the Streets!

Pictured left to right are: Sally Rintoul, Sherry Holcomb, and Kim Prus.

Impact 100 volunteers were in the streets of Madeira recently as part of the “Girls Night Out” event put on by Cincinnati Magazine. Hundreds of women turned out to sip, shop, and sample information from participating organizations.

Impact 100 was featured as the nonprofit partner for this event and we made the most of it by talking with attendees about our mission and ways to magnify their giving for transformational change.
