As we continue to respond, adapt and adjust our ministry through the “ups” and “downs” of COVID restrictions, let us gather together for support and encouragement.

To this end, I have scheduled ZOOM meetings with all our churches on Saturday, February 27 for the purpose of discussing, collaborating, and planning ministry opportunities and events during the Lenten season and Holy Week. Please make every effort to attend your assigned ZOOM session that was sent to you last week through email.

I was overjoyed how the previous ZOOM sessions prepared our churches for excellent innovative ministry through Advent and the Christmas season! I have no doubt we shall experience similar results through these meetings. You are resourceful and creative people!

On the Adventure with you,

Supt. Ben
Bishop Linda Adams guides us into a deep dive of Life-Giving Holiness, the first value of The Free Methodist Way. The richness and scope of this article has been written into four discipleship guides titled, The Well of Living Water. You’ll discover or rediscover a passion for holiness rooted in surrender to the Lordship of Jesus.

Free to Worship

Free Methodist Church – USA worship services may not look or sound alike across the country or even in the same city. According to the 2019 Book of Discipline, Free Methodist “worship is characterized by simplicity and freedom of the Spirit,” but no specific style of worship music is mandated.

Why do these congregations emphasize worship and choose specific styles and practices?

A Roundtable Discussion is available along with resources from Brotherhood Mutual.

Panelists from Barna, Traders Point Christian Church, and Capital Church discuss what worked last year and how to leverage new technology and engage leadership for 2021.

Feel free to share this talk with anyone in your ministry.

Join us for a livestream meeting with God—a response to the call to
"return to the Lord with all our hearts, with fasting and weeping and mourning."

Wednesday, February 17, 2021
6:00pm – 8:00pm CT

Over and over, we have been pulled toward meeting on Ash Wednesday. We consider Ash Wednesday as a Kingdom Invitation for Great Awakening. We will make camp around the ancient text from the Prophet Joel:

“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

We will walk through seasons of repentance marked by confession, renunciation and returning to the Lord with ALL of our hearts, both personally and collectively. This is such an important moment in the life of the world, a moment to pivot from what has been to the awakening on the horizon.

Join us from your local church (local guidelines permitting), from home, from your car, or wherever you can. We believe history will show this to have been a pivotal moment in our sowing for a great awakening.

And once again—thanks to the generosity of the Seedbed community—registration for this event will be totally free of charge.
