Free Methodists attending New Room next week are invited to the Bishop's Luncheon on Friday, September 24th
Free Methodists are preparing to enter holy space with like-minded Wesleyans from across the country.

On behalf of the Board of Bishops of the Free Methodist Church, you are invited to conclude this time with lunch and guided conversation about what has been experienced.

We will gather at the outdoor event tent on Friday, September 24, from noon until 2:00 p.m. The meal is provided free of charge.

If you have not already RSVP’d, please contact Rev. Deb Somerville ([email protected]) today.
Club 45 for 4th and 5th Graders is October 1st. More information below.
Car Mission Fund for Supt. Mekebib

Men's Ministries International is raising $50,000 for a vitaly important FMCUSA ministry endeavor in Ethiopia.
We will purchase a Toyota Land Cruiser for Superintendent Mekebib Desta of Ethiopia.
Supt. Mekebib has labored courageously for the Good News of Christ without reliable transportation as testified to by former and present FMCUSA Bishops. Purchasing a vehicle is nearly impossible for an Ethiopian due to the 100% tax that the Ethiopian Government places on the purchase of vehicles. Despite this hardship, Superintendent Mekebib travels hundreds of miles each month by unreliable public transportation, beasts of burden or by foot for the purpose of discipling the pastors and overseeing the churches.
The kingdom work in Ethiopia needs our support now. Together, we can ensure the proclamation of the Gospel and Holiness message for years to come!

Greenville University Youth Worship Summit,
Saturday, September 25
4:00-5:30pm
Durley Camp & Retreat Center
Now that summer is winding down and we’re all looking at fall calendars, I wanted to invite your youth group and your student worship team to participate in this fall’s GU Youth Worship Summit!

This event will be Saturday, Sept. 25, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. at Durley Camp in Greenville. This is an invite for all local area youth groups to attend. And we especially are excited to host those who have student-led worship teams to be part of a collaborative worship experience!

If your student team would like to participate, they will be able to lead 2 songs. Our GU Pursuit team will open and close the time together, and we will also have some short devotions interspersed. Please fill out THIS FORM by September 8 if your worship team would like to participate. We will then work with you to accommodate sound/equipment needs.

If you are interested in bringing your youth group, just respond to [email protected] and then I can get you some information to disperse to your group.

If you’d like to see more about Durley, click here and you can find a photo of the tabernacle, where we will be setting up for the evening.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

"'We know kids can listen and learn, and so how do we teach a child to listen to the Holy Spirit instead of just listening to the voice of the world?' said [Christie] Kessinger, who added that we teach children reading, sports and manners and 'we can also train a child to listen to the Holy Spirit and to read the Bible for what the Holy Spirit has to say to them.'"
