Impact of Maui Fires
The tragedy of the wildfires is being felt deeply on the island of Maui. Our hearts go out to all who were affected.
Two Leilani Farm Sanctuary volunteers lost their homes in the fires. Now, we are short-staffed and are seeking more volunteer help.
Unfortunately, many bookings by visitors for farm tours have been cancelled and refunds issued. Our tours, which provide humane education to the community, are also a significant source of funding for providing food, shelter, and veterinary care for rescued animals. The loss of these funds creates an urgent need to secure additional financial support.
