Inspiring Impact
April 2020 Newsletter
So Much to be Proud of...
In the past six weeks, our world has drastically changed due to the disruption and devastation brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. For Impact100 leaders, members, supporters, and nonprofit partners, the changes have been continuous as the effects of the virus deliver an evolving series of circumstances to overcome. These are challenging times and the pandemic is affecting every aspect of the work we do in Impact100.
On April 5, Queen Elizabeth delivered a short but compelling message of reassurance, comfort and inspiration as her nation and the world struggle through the new realities brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Only the fifth time in her more than 68-year reign that she addressed the nation outside of her annual Christmas greeting, she spoke less than five minutes, yet succeeded in positioning the crisis as a defining moment for her nation. Read More

Let’s Celebrate Mother’s Day!
May 10th: Impact100 Celebrates Mothers & Mentors all around the Globe. Connect with us on social media to celebrate! You can make a special gift in honor/memory of a special woman who has Impacted your life. Your gift will provide a young woman a scholarship grant from the Impact100 Young Philanthropist Program.  We created the Young Philanthropist Program to empower and equip future generations with the resources to transform their communities. These women have spunk, heart, and a drive to make their communities the best they can be.
May 19th: Impact Leadership Workshop “Best Practice: Building the Culture of Impact100 Leadership” Details and registration information will be available soon.
Looking Forward 2021 Impact100 Global Day of Giving:
Impact100 Council is excited to announce our inaugural Impact100 Global Day of Giving to be held on November 4, 2021, in conjunction with the Impact100 20th Anniversary celebration.

Special thanks to each of the Chapters for sharing your input and calendars and to those who served as the leadership committee for coming together to create this powerful, synchronized Global Giving Day.

A 2021 launch will allow a full year to plan, develop, and execute a robust multi-media campaign that appropriately celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Impact100 movement and shines the light on the powerful difference each Impact100 makes in the local community.

Impact100 Best Practice: Creating an “Evergreen”
auto-renewing membership
As Impact100 leaders, we understand that many of our members rejoin us every year. Including an option on your chapter's Membership Information page allowing your members to select an "evergreen" or auto-renewing option makes it easier for our members and for our membership committees. Although several Impact100 chapters utilize this strategy, many do not.

Pro Tip: Identifying your Evergreen members provides great benefits - these are the women who are deeply committed to your work and the Impact100 philosophies and would be ideally suited to join or lead committees, host membership information sessions, and more.
