Dear members and friends:

It’s time to celebrate the arrival of the MOM Mobile! One of our Impact Grants in 2022 was to Martin County Healthy Start Coalition for Maternity on the Move, bringing much needed prenatal care to Indiantown, Hobe Sound, Golden Gate and East Stuart. Please check out the story in this newsletter to learn more about the MOM Mobile and how you can join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony. We couldn’t be more excited!

At the Grant Awards Ceremony, you heard me talk about how your membership in Impact100 Martin helps build community. In the upcoming year, we will look for ways to build community with other organizations in Martin County who care about the nonprofit community and giving back as part of their mission. Along those lines, we have invited our friends from Young Professionals of Martin County (YPMC) to join our Happy Hour on June 27th at 4pm at Stringers. I hope you will join us as we get to know each other better and find our common interests in serving Martin County!

With gratitude for your generosity no matter the form it takes.

Maureen Cotter, President

An exciting message from Martin County Healthy Start:

Martin County Healthy Start Coalition is excited to be at the forefront of innovation in maternal healthcare with MOM Mobile: Maternity on the Move. Our vision is every baby born healthy, every mother supported, every father involved. On April 19, 2022 we were 1 of 3 agencies awarded $100,000 at Impact100's Grant Awards Celebration. Yes. You read that right. ONE. HUNDRED. THOUSAND. DOLLARS.

We are working hard to improve birth outcomes and provide access to prenatal care, while ensuring our vision for a healthier Martin County. This award funded our MOM Mobile: Maternity on the Move, a 38-foot mobile medical clinic that will serve pregnant moms in Indiantown, Hobe Sound, Golden Gate and East Stuart. The $100,000 Grant has been pooled together with Martin County Board of County Commissioners’ seed support of $284,214 through ARPA funding.

This mobile unit will be the first of its kind in our area to offer high-quality and culturally competent prenatal care for women with access and transportation barriers. Women will no longer wonder how they will get to their prenatal appointments, because now, we’re going to them.

Words cannot express our deepest gratitude to Impact100 Martin for choosing to make our big dreams a reality.

We as a coalition are also so thankful for our CEO, Samantha Suffich. Samantha dreams big, aims high, and goes above and beyond to support the moms and babies of Martin County.

We have 46 members as of June 1, 2024. Please remember that we have a Happy Hour at Stringers Tavern & Oyster Bar on Thursday, June 27, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm so please join us and bring a friend! You can sign up for the event on the member portal.

A timely story…of two strong minds coming together in the name of justice and equality.”—Sadeqa Johnson, author of The House of Eve.

Impact Book Club brings together Women With Opinions to discuss what they love (or hate!) about books that are great reads, but also make you think. If you’d like to join moderators Jill Preston and Linda Weiksnar on August 5 as we discuss the novelist and the novel, please RSVP by clicking on the link provided.

As always, although the event is informal, please make sure you have read the book if you plan to attend. The event is held in the private home of one of our members; the address will be provided to all who RSVP by August 2, 2024. And if you can’t make this one, don’t fret – we’ll announce another book after the August event!

As a dedicated volunteer, Rosalia Kung’s commitment to improving the lives of others has been constant. While she will tell you that her most cherished accomplishments have been her marriage, her “great” children, and her fascination with art history (which led to a second career as a docent at the Princeton Museum of Art), her commitment to community service throughout her life and her management consultant career radiates.

After relocating several times over the years, the couple settled in Stuart, and Rosalia became quickly immersed in charitable work. She co-chaired Mariner Sands Charity Week with her husband where she developed a grants program that extended the organization’s philanthropic effect.

Three years ago Rosalia joined Impact, a move that felt like a natural progression. This year she participated in launching the Visioning Committee, a task force designed to assist non-profits in honing their goals and refining their initial proposals. She has found immense joy in “meeting the people on the front lines.” Rosalia feels strongly about supporting women’s empowerment, and she finds Impact100 Martin to be an organization that helps her realize that goal, while enjoying the camaraderie and collective nature of our work.

The Hamilton Capital team is honored to be a sponsor of Impact100 Martin. The generosity you and your members share with the community is inspiring. We are thrilled to continue our support of the Organization as well as our support for Genevieve George, your current Board Treasurer, who also serves as a Senior Financial Advisor on our team in Palm Beach Gardens. Genevieve recently joined our team and has been sharing incredible stories and experiences from her time with Impact100 Martin. The care the Organization takes in vetting and selecting grant finalists pairs well with the care we take when working with our clients. We aim to elevate our client’s advisor experience by providing dynamic investment management paired with in-depth and customized financial planning, both at the personal and professional level.

We believe wealth in itself is usually not the destination. It is simply the vehicle for something more meaningful. Getting there requires careful planning and more importantly, high quality investment returns. Without these, the best-made plans simply remain plans.

At Hamilton Capital, we aim to build, protect and compound wealth with your vision of the future in mind. Our business model, professional team, innovative planning and dynamic investment management are all about this.

When it comes to your finances, you deserve extraordinary!
