Introducing Impact365

Impact365 is a voluntary giving opportunity for members who want to strengthen the foundation of Impact100 Martin by contributing $365 a year — just one dollar a day! — toward essential operating costs.

This year-round commitment gives members another way to support the behind-the-scenes work that helps make our transformational grants possible.

Members who join Impact365 will receive a distinctive Impact365 lapel pin, featuring the number 365 centered inside our flowering sea star, symbolizing their year-round dedication to sustaining our mission.

Impact365 supporters will also be recognized at Impact100 Martin events in appreciation of the important role they play in strengthening our collective impact throughout the year.

Interested in becoming part of Impact365? Click here to join online, email administration@impact100martin.org, or by selecting the Impact365 option on the membership form.

Grants Committee News - October 2026

Our Season 9 Impact Grant projects are coming to life across Martin County! From a new mobile shower unit and accessible park improvements to expanded transportation, environmental education, and veterinary care, our nonprofit partners are making exciting progress. Here’s a look at what they’ve been up to:

CareBag Inc. | Mobile Shower Unit

CareBag’s new Mobile Shower Unit is officially moving forward! Production began in September, with delivery to Martin County expected in October. Once it arrives, the team will stock the unit, complete final inspections and preparations, and add a custom wrap recognizing Impact100 Martin’s support. CareBag anticipates launching service at First United Methodist Church of Stuart in early November, providing individuals in need with greater access to showers, hygiene supplies, and dignity.

Hope Center for Autism | Hope in Motion

Hope in Motion is already on the road! Hope Center for Autism purchased a new 2025 Collins GMC MPV to help reduce transportation barriers for individuals with autism. A driver has been hired, and the program has begun providing transportation for aftercare services. The vehicle’s new wrap also proudly recognizes Impact100 Martin’s support while helping raise awareness throughout the community.

Environmental Studies Center | River Scout II

Construction is underway on River Scout II, the Environmental Studies Center’s new floating classroom! The vessel’s hull is currently under construction and undergoing U.S. Coast Guard inspection, with delivery anticipated in December. Of the $100,000 Impact Grant, $80,000 has already been put toward construction. If all continues according to schedule, River Scout II will welcome its first students aboard in January 2027.

Humane Society of the Treasure Coast | Digital X-Ray Machine

The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is getting closer to putting its new digital X-ray machine to work! Delivery is expected by the end of October, followed by comprehensive staff training. The veterinary team anticipates beginning to use the new equipment in early November, strengthening its ability to provide diagnostic care to animals in our community.

Kiwanis Club | Harmony Highway and Turf ADA Project

Exciting improvements are taking shape at Kiwanis Park! Site preparation has progressed, new musical instruments are being installed, and work continues on the accessible turf surfacing. Three replacement benches have also been ordered. While the project team works through a significant cost increase for the planned Gateway sign, other major components remain on track.

Join the Kiwanis Club of Stuart Florida Foundation on Saturday,

October 17, 2026, for a special celebration of Harmony Highway! A

ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. during Super Saturday at

Kiwanis Park at Woodlawn.

Super Saturday runs from 9 to 11 a.m., so be sure to arrive early to catch the ribbon cutting and help celebrate this exciting addition to our

community!

They’re planning an extra-special morning for children and families, complete with special activities and refreshments—and are inviting Impact100 Martin members to join the celebration.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our members to see our impact in action and celebrate this milestone.

We love watching these projects move from ideas on paper to meaningful

improvements throughout Martin County. Thank you to our nonprofit partners for keeping us updated as they put Impact100 Martin’s collective giving into action!

Looking for a meaningful gift for someone special? Last year, 12 members gifted an Impact100 Martin membership to a friend, relative, or associate!

A gifted membership is a wonderful way to introduce someone to Impact100 Martin and the power of collective giving. Consider giving someone on your list the opportunity to make a difference in our community alongside you.

Nancy Johnson

While Nancy Johnson and Impact member Valerie Gaynor chatted one day last April at their children’s school, Valerie mentioned Impact100 Martin. Nancy was immediately excited by our mission and its ability to support outreach beyond a single charity. She joined us for our annual Awards Ceremony, and when there was a request for a CPA's help, Nancy knew what to do. She is a CPA and has an MBA and Master’s Degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. Her career has focused on strategic finance and accounting; she has led finance operations for renewable energy portfolios, served as CFO and is currently a board member for a publicly traded fund listed on the London Stock Exchange, and brings broad expertise across the financial spectrum. She is a perfect fit and has now joined us as treasurer.

While we are blessed to have her knowledge and skill, we are also very happy to have a member with a wide range of experiences and interests. Nancy grew up in Hobe Sound; she has lived in Port St. Lucie and Wellington, on a farm out near Lake Okeechobee, and has now settled in Stuart. She, her husband Jeff, and 13-year-old daughter, Mia, are avid boaters and spend much of their leisure time fishing, paddle-boarding and free-diving. When at home, she indulges her love of orchids (at the moment, there are ten in her yard), raises vegetables, and has a passion for reading across a wide range of subjects. We enthusiastically welcome Nancy and look forward to becoming friends with this delightful woman.
