Season 9 Kickoff Celebration!

Guests are welcome

We are thrilled to launch our 2025–2026 season and invite you to reconnect, get inspired, and share in the excitement as we set the tone for Season 9. Whether you’re passionate about volunteering or inspiring change, there’s a place for you to shine. Together, we can do more.

This year, we are honored to welcome Lisa Holland as our keynote speaker. Lisa is the President and CEO of Sheltair, the largest privately held aviation real estate and FBO company in the U.S. As a visionary leader and philanthropist, she is deeply committed to inspiring positive change. Her work with organizations such as the Blue Lightning Initiative, Pilots N Paws, and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital showcases her passion for community impact. She is also the driving force behind Sheltair’s Girls in Aviation Day, empowering the next generation of aviation professionals. Lisa’s leadership and dedication to service will inspire us as we embark on another year of collective giving.

Please RSVP no later than November 3, 2025.

Light bites and a cash bar will be available.

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I may remember.

Involve me and I will learn.” – Benjamin Franklin

When we launched this chapter, we were intentional about building a community of women committed to collective giving. The only requirement is a $1,100 annual contribution—$1,000 to the grants pool and $100 toward administrative costs. But let’s be honest: none of you operate by minimums. I continue to be inspired by your generosity of time, talent, and treasure—and your genuine desire to make Martin County better.

Our calendar is full of meaningful ways to engage: Impactful Conversations (panel discussions tied to our focus areas), See Your Impact visits to past grant recipients, arts-focused Culture Club outings, and our monthly Welcome Circle orientation. And of course, our high-energy Annual Kickoff this November will launch Season 9 in style. We hope each member joins us for at least one event this season!

Are you connected with businesses that could benefit from visibility among a powerful group of women? The Sponsorship Committee would love your help. Want to host a Meet & Mingle? Or invite a friend to learn more? Join a committee, help with an event, or simply be an ambassador—your voice matters!

I often say this is a guilt-free membership. I encourage you to lean in—not out of obligation, but because so many of us have found real joy and connection through our involvement. Just like Franklin said, the more we participate, the more we grow—together.

Make each day count,

Our portal opened for Letters of Intent immediately following the annual Grant Writing Workshop, held on August 28, 2025, at the Children’s Services Council of Martin County.

More than 60 people representing a variety of nonprofits attended the workshop, led by The Community Foundation Martin-St. Lucie in conjunction with Impact100 Martin. Elizabeth Barbella and Ellie Gundrania shared in-depth information about the grants process along with tips for submitting strong LOIs. Kelly McIntyre, Grants Committee Co-Chair, and Tracy Sorzano, Visioning Team Chairwoman, added valuable insights from their committees.

A new feature this year included a presentation from past recipients. Lori Sang (Little Lights Dentistry) and Noel DelValle (Martin County P.A.L.) offered thoughtful advice on the process from start to finish.

Extensive information about the grants process, including deadlines, is available on our website (Grant Information). All applicants are welcome to reach out to The Community Foundation with questions. Attendees were also encouraged to schedule a one-hour consultation with the Visioning Committee, which will hold virtual meetings from October 6 to November 21.

If you are affiliated with a nonprofit—or know someone who is—please encourage them to visit our website to learn more about the grants process or contact us at info@impact100martin.org.

As of September, we're at 67 members on our way to 550. Thank you to everyone who has renewed and helped spread the word.
Welcome to our newest members who joined in August 2025
  • Leigh Anne Dees — South Martin County (Hobe Sound)
  • Lucille Pelletier — Soundings Yacht & Tennis
  • Alessandra Zanchi — Harbour Ridge
  • Beth Galt-Salsamendi — Soundings Yacht & Tennis (Rocky Point)
Thank you to these members for the referrals: Missi Campbell, Pat Bartlett, and Judy Zanchi.

WE NEED YOU!

Most new members discover Impact100 Martin by attending a Meet & Mingle in the warm, intimate setting of a current member’s home. We’ll provide a Membership and a Grants Committee representative to handle the speaking—you simply invite friends and neighbors and offer light refreshments.

Interested in hosting a Meet & Mingle this fall? Email Judy at communitycaptain@impact100martin.org.

Don't miss the opportunity to see the Impact100 Martin transformational grants at work.

Join us to visit Banner Lake and Project LIFT to hear firsthand the difference your donation to Impact100 made for these two projects and the people they serve.

Michigan’s loss was our gain when health and the lure of the sunny south persuaded Dawn Dipzinski and her husband, Ben, to settle in Stuart, FL. She had retired from her 25-year career as an interior designer, but the helping hand she provides for Ben’s business (supplying dust collectors to the wood manufacturing industry) and not just playing but organizing golf events, keeps our new Board secretary busy. She has already raised three children; the older two are living out of state now, but her youngest, Aubrey, has started her career in real estate here. Now an Impact100 member herself, Dawn’s daughter is encouraging young professionals to regard membership in Impact100 as a valuable addition to their activities.

It takes spunk to uproot from a lifetime in Grand Rapids and move to an unknown future, but it took no time at all in 2021 for Dawn to become involved. Her friend, Jacqui Costanzo, suggested that the two of them attend an Impact100 event at the Oceanographic Institute, and Roseanne Wolcott immediately suggested that they become members of our organization and join the Membership Engagement Committee. Dawn says that she has thoroughly enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with so many engaged, intelligent, and great women, and loves becoming involved in the vital work of the nonprofits in our community.
