It's nearly time for our Big Reveal! Members, join us to learn how many women became a part of Impact100 Metro Detroit this year and how much we will award in grants at our Big Give in May. You won't want to miss this event! Below is a link to register; we can't wait to see you (on Zoom)!

As we get ready to announce our grant award amount, grant review season is also upon us. If you'd like to help us narrow down the field of applicants and bring forward the projects that will be voted on by our members click below! Our meetings are virtual and times are scheduled with input from members of each focus area committee. The Grant Review Training is TONIGHT! Sign up this morning!

Helping the Helpers

Become a volunteer literacy mentor! Click here to read how becoming a literacy tutor impacted one of our volunteers. Please reach out to Aryeh Perlman at aperlman@brilliantdetroit.org to sign up or get your questions answered!
Host a Winter Clothing Drive for Children! We want to ensure that the Brilliant Detroit kids stay warm during the frigid winter months. We will distribute the donated items at our neighborhood hubs. New or gently used items are welcome. Please email Aryeh Perlman at aperlman@brilliantdetroit.org to make arrangements.
Chandler Park Food Distribution Volunteer! We are looking for volunteers to help us distribute food at our Chandler Park location on Tuesdays between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM! We have partnered with Gleaner's Mobile Food Pantry to provide our kids and families in the Chandler Park neighborhood with nutritious and healthy food. Please email Aryeh Perlman at aperlman@brilliantdetroit.org with any questions.

Freedom House is currently in the process of choosing and architect for their outdoor space project funded by our 2021 grant. They look forward to breaking ground soon after that. In the meantime, if you'd like to do more, here are some options.

Join the Beacon Network! By making a donation of $5 or more a month you create a sustainable, reliable funding stream that, like the Statue of Liberty's torch, ensures Freedom House's lights remain on for asylum seekers now and into the future.
