Who are we?
Impact100 Metro Detroit is a 501(c)(3) collective giving organization founded in 2015 and focused on awarding high impact grants to nonprofit heroes in our Metro Detroit community (Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties).
What do we do?
We award high-impact transformational grants to local nonprofit organizations for projects serving Wayne, Oakland and Macomb county. Our grant funding comes from collecting $1,000 donations from our members, who are then also able to participate directly in the philanthropic process by serving on grant review committees and/or ultimately voting on which applicants’ projects will be awarded a grant. Our high-impact grants are awarded in increments of $100,000. In 2021, we awarded two $100,000 grants and $52,000 in finalist awards. 2022 grant amounts will be announced at a later date.
What types of projects do we fund?
We are looking for projects that fund new programs, the expansion of existing programs, or new or expanded collaborations. We recognize the valuable work being done by our nonprofit community day in and day out. However, our intention for this grant is to help nonprofits DREAM BIG with new and innovative ideas that will impact the organization and community for years to come. When do we accept applications?
We will begin accepting grant applications on November 15 with all applications due by January 14, 2022. All grants will be awarded on May 18, 2022.
