ImpactData Unveils Its New Website, Promoting “Data Centers Empowered,” To Deliver Purpose-Built, Carrier-Neutral Data Centers on HBCU Campuses. | |
Atlanta, Georgia - Today, we’d like to share an exciting milestone in the creation of our company, ImpactData. While we’ve operated in stealth mode for two years, the unveiling of our newly launched website is a significant moment for us and one of many announcements that we’ll be sharing in the coming weeks. At ImpactData, our mission is to deliver digital infrastructure to underserved communities that need it the most. It is this passionate ethos that we take in our approach to creating the first distributed network of edge data centers on the campuses of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (“HBCUs”), affectionately named Dream Centers.
Each ~$100 million Dream Center will deliver enterprises proximate, high-powered data center capacity while empowering communities via integrated innovation & workforce training spaces, ultimately creating a more diverse pipeline of digital talent. This is a direct reflection of our core values and purpose: inspiring a greater need for diversity & inclusion within a rapidly evolving technology landscape. By deploying hybrid colocation data centers alongside HBCUs, we are bringing companies closer to their data while nurturing the diverse talent needed to future proof their businesses -- creating a pathway towards the first hybrid cloud, "Tech for Good" platform.
So, we hope each of you joins us on this journey to close the digital divide, together, as we build more interconnected campuses and communities, ensuring everyone can take part in the new digital economy. This, is Data Centers Empowered.
Cheers,
Terry, David and the ImpactData Team
