SHINE & SHARE MOMENTS

Making women feel special is a BIG DEAL around here! Testimonies, tears, and laughter were shared for a birthday and two of our newest ladies did the baking! (top two)

We are not the same! Staff attended our first conference together with sisters-in-Christ throughout the state of Florida in Daytona for the Thrive Conference of PF Women. We were healed, restored, stretched, and empowered! (bottom left)

Service Work is an important principle in recovery--we cannot keep what we do not give away! This special, young woman volunteered to fill in for staff during Art for Your Heart in October. Her topic was defining what keeps you rooted and stable and identifying areas of growth and things you need to shed and let go of. (bottom right)

RELATIONSHIP MATTERS! Healing happens when we show up to "brew" and "pour" truth and gratitude and "spill tea" together. One honest conversation at a time, we grow stronger, more free and more whole! (top left)

We lost a precious sister to unexpected heart issues in November and it was the MOST BEAUTIFUL thing in the world to see her sisters in recovery come together to host her Celebration of Life at His House for Her and share their warm thoughts and experiences with Donna during the last weeks of her life. (top right) Thank you to Program Director, Amber Pharand, for leading this compassionate and heart-felt effort.

Fire pit! Healing isn't just about hard work--it includes fresh air, sisterhood, and FUN along the way! (bottom left)

We are so proud of our sweet Stephanie! She hit 5-years of successful recovery in November. She has grown EXPONENTIALLY since joining our team and she is such a blessing to our ladies as their House Mentor and sister-friend. (bottom right)

Art is healing! During one of our classes, we paused to remember this truth--Jesus holds us as his daughter. He gently invites us to release the things that hurt us...the burdens we were never meant to carry alone.

We visualized Him taking those pains away on a cloud, on a rainbow, and on a sunbeam. And just like we never see the same cloud, rainbow, or sunbeam twice, we were reminded that God is always doing something new. Thank you, Community Care Coordinator, Cynthia Biggs, for incorporating creativity to lighten the load of processing.

On New Year's Eve 23 of us assembled for Glory to Greater, a time to allow God to do whatever He wanted to do and He did not disappoint.

Thank you to Loy Williams of Prayer Life Coach for organizing this warm, peace-filled yet powerful evening.

Thank you to friend of the ministry, Tanya Hoover, for sharing her heart and impactful message about building intimacy with the Lord and trusting His process of getting us from our Point A (where we don't want to be) to our Point B (where we or He wants us to be).

It was a wonderful way to end 2025 and begin 2026 together!

PARTNER POWERHOUSE

We truly couldn’t do what we do without the incredible support of our community partners and connections. 💜 Their encouragement, collaboration, and generosity help bring hope and healing to life—every single day.

Here’s a look at some of the amazing happenings from this past quarter… 🙌✨

Thank you to City Light Church for their series on healing which finished November 2nd. They invited me to share my healing journey--something I share parts of often in ministry, but had never done on a platform before. Here is that link should like to hear more of my life's journey and why creating His House for Her was so important to me: RENEE'S TESTIMONY (begins at 52:09)

Thank you to Teri Arens, Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, for helping us explore home ownership and giving us a realistic view of all that qualifying requires.

That you to the Ocala 200 Lions Club for inviting us to share our mission. Did you know that the Lions volunteer in 8 global causes--Childhood Cancer, Diabetes, Disaster Relief, the Environment, Humanitarian Need, Hunger, Vision, and Youth?

We are always grateful to Strong Families of the United Way of Marion County! His House for Her celebrated two more graduates from this program which focuses on Financial Stability! We shared a beautiful evening at the Ocala Hilton.

We are blessed to BLESS AGAIN!

This past holiday season, we partnered with 3 local women's ministries who serve women overcoming the same adversities as ours.

We helped Threads of Confidence provide new sweatsuits for indigent women being released from the local prison. Threads of Confidence tries to provide as many "fresh clothes" for "fresh starts" as they can. You can find them on Facebook HERE.

We helped The Jesus Infusion provide Christmas gift bags to 1,125 incarcerated women at the Women’s Reception Center. As you can imagine, Christmas can be an extremely emotional time for incarcerated women. Women cheered, clapped, sang Christmas songs, cried and smiled--all warming the hearts of the volunteers who worked so hard to make this happen.

Finally, we helped New Direction Reentry Center of Marion County establish their new food pantry. Founder, Laresa Williams, has been a friend of mine since 2019 and we both set out on our nonprofit journeys at the same time. She serves incarcerated women through housing and educational/empowerment services. You can find Laresa on Facebook HERE.
