Dear Friends,

During these challenging times I’m reaching out with an update on what is happening at the Ivy Creek Foundation (ICF). As a result of COVID-19 we have taken the following steps:

  • The trails are OPEN! Please practice social distancing while on the trails. The trails will, hopefully, remain open as long as we continue to practice this behavior. Remember, social distancing is for your safety and the safety of others.  Leave only your footprints.
  • At this time the Education Building and Barn are closed. We are following the Governors Executive Order 53 and plan to keep them closed through April 23rd but will be evaluating the situation and proceeding accordingly.
  • The best way to reach staff is through email.

One way you can help is by making a donation . Like other non-profits and small businesses, ICF is feeling a financial impact from COVID-19.  ICF depends upon the generosity of friends, members, and visitors. This generosity provides resources allowing us to offer guided field trips to school children, programming for people of all ages, use of our education building for more than forty partner organizations, and maintenance of more than seven miles of trails.

If we all work together, I know we can get through these challenging times. I hope you find the following words from Martin Luther King Jr. as inspirational as I do.

“Even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream.”

I look forward to the day the Education Building and barn reopen. I wish you, your family, and friends all the best.

Sincerely,

Sue Erhardt
Executive Director
