The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson MP, visited the farm of NFU Cymru Poultry Chair to outline his ambition for farming and food production and how this could be achieved through new policies to support farming and the signing of new trade deals. The EU is currently the home of 72% of Wales' total food and drink exports and over one third of Welsh lamb is exported to EU markets every year.

Construction work has begun on Swansea's Digital Arena which forms part of a £120m transformation known as Swansea Central Phase One. The scheme will also see the creation of homes, commercial units, a digital Square, coastal-themed parkland, a broad pedestrian bridge over Oystermouth Road and hundreds of new parking spaces.

Boris Johnson Visit Demonstrates Importance of Wales'...

The Prime Minister's visit to a Welsh family farming business recently is welcome recognition of the importance of the farming and food industry to Wales, says NFU Cymru.
