Unregistered participants (bandits) and people using someone else's bib will be banned from SRC events and will also be reported to USATF. Person-to-person transfers of race bibs or registrations are NOT allowed.

If you are unable to run due to injury then you will get 50% off the 2026 Snohomish River Run as long as you notify us 7 days prior to the race. Please email info@snohomishrunning.com. If you pickup your race packet and do not run then we are unable to give you 50% off the 2026 Snohomish River Run.

Know the Route

It is important that all runners know their course route. Yes, it will be appropriately marked, and there will be course monitors. However, mistakes have been known to happen. As a participant, it is very important for you to know the route. Below are important course notes. Please read them.

Important Notes

STAY LEFT! All routes will be on the same course. We need everyone to stay in the left-hand lane at all times to avoid collisions with other runners.

Leave room for faster runners. We have attempted to time the start time of the different events so the faster runners of the longer distances will not be held up by slower runners in the shorter distances. However, we do ask that the slower runners NOT run 3 abreast and to please make sure you do not obstruct faster runners from the longer distances.

Do NOT obstruct or hold up faster runners in the finish chute. We will have separate finish lines for the marathon/half marathon along with the 5K/10K. Make sure you run through the correct chute. We also know that we need that perfect finish line photo for our friends. However, please make sure to be mindful of other runners who are also finishing.

Leave some finish line food for the last runners. We will have soup and other food at the finish line for everyone. Please do not use this food to feed your family or spectators. We need to make sure there is plenty of food left for the final runners.

Race shirts and sweatshirts

All participants who registered prior to Oct. 1st will get a race shirt or sweatshirt when they pick up their race packets. Those who registered after Oct. 1st are not guaranteed a shirt or sweatshirt. Most likely we will have enough race shirts or sweatshirts for everyone. We just can't guarantee it.

Distance Changes

All distance changes need to be done in person at packet pickup. If you decide to cut the race short and did not transfer distances, please make sure to notify the timer, who will be located right next to the finish line.

Race Results

Race results will be live immediately following the race.

Parking

Avenue D, Lowell Snohomish River Road, and 1st Street will all close at 7:15 a.m.! We highly suggest all cars be in Snohomish prior to 7:15 a.m. This does not mean you have to be at the start at 7:15 a.m., but you should at least be in town by then.

Please arrive early and be patient if there are lines.

PARKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON FIRST STREET IN SNOHOMISH. YOU WILL BE TOWED!

Participant Drop Off

If a spectator is dropping you off, please have them pull onto First Street east of Avenue D, and pause to let you out of the vehicle. Do not hold up traffic at any intersections. Remember, spectators cannot park on First Street, or they will be towed. First Street will only be open until 7:15 am.

Medical Issues

We will have a fully-staffed medical tent at the finish line for anyone who is in need of help. If you have issues while on course, please stop at the nearest aid station and they will call for aid.

The course will close at 1p.m. sharp for all distances.
