Dear ACC Veteran Students,
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, ACC courses that have been face-to-face in the past will be online for Summer 2020. You may be concerned about the impact to your benefits, and we want to provide guidance.
You will need to enroll in courses that have converted to online formats due to COVID-19 to ensure you receive your full allowance. To be sure you do not register for a course that was never intended to be face-to-face, please check your schedule against this list. If your planned course is on this list, you should find an alternate course in Self Serviceto ensure you receive your full housing allowance.
Registration for Summer 2020 starts Monday, May 4.We encourage you to plan in advance for your classes usingACC Self Serviceor contact an advisor for 1-on-1 support planning your courses. If the Veterans Administration (VA) will not certify the Monthly Housing Allowance Rate (BAH) for these courses, ACC Veterans Office will help you apply for alternate funding through the CARES Act Student Aid or assist you in finding an alternate course that keeps you on track and eligible for your VA benefits.
