UPDATES APRIL 30, 2020
PHASE 1 REOPENING
Yesterday, Gov. DeSantis announced Phase 1 of Florida's reopening on May 4 . As predicted, social distancing, OSHA standards ( click here ) , and CDC guidelines ( click here ) are to be followed to ensure continued safety of employees and patrons. The reopening includes:

Restaurants – IF following CDC & OSHA guidelines, and maintaining 6' distancing between all tables, and seating parties of 10 or fewer people, can use outside dining and can use up to 25% capacity for indoor. Bar counters must remain closed. Delivery and pickup orders may be continued. [ For the National Restaurant Association's guidance on reopening , click here.]

Retail – IF following CDC & OSHA guidelines, can open storefronts to operate at no more than 25% occupancy. Delivery and pickup orders may be continued. [ For helpful guidance from the National Retail Federation on reopening , click here .]

Bars, pubs, and nightclubs remain prohibited from selling alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption. Sales of sealed beverages for off-premise consumption may be continued.

Gyms and personal services (e.g., barber shops, salons) continue to remain closed. However , the portions of those businesses with on-site retail sales may open at 25% capacity for those sales and if following CDC and OSHA guidelines.
