Dear Friends of Spiritual Life Center,
First of all, breathe.

In light of the Coronavirus, we’ve asked ourselves the following question:

How can SLC meet the spiritual needs and provide support to its friends and members, while minimizing the health risks without unnecessary fear or drama? At the same time, how can we be responsible members of our collective community's effort to navigate through the COVID-19 experience successfully?

Here’s what we have decided…

Livestream (without a live audience) our Sunday Service at 11 a.m. for the next two Sundays (March 15 & 22) and encourage everyone to watch from their homes. We will incorporate a collective prayer for the health and well-being of everyone within our SLC community, our state, country, and the planet.

Reschedule the next two Wednesday W.O.W Services .

Give our class and small group facilitators the option to Zoom conference their class or group, or to cancel until further notice. SLC will purchase an upgraded version of Zoom for the instructors to use.

Reschedule the Spring Fling and the Special By-Laws Amendment meetings to a later date.

Provide a convenient way for those who Livestream our services or classes to Donate Online .

Re-evaluate and assess where things stand after the live-streamed service on Sunday, March 29 th , to decide how to move forward.

Office hours will be available by appointment only.

Prayer support is available from our Chaplains or by calling Silent Unity at 1-816-969-2000.

Send updates as needed to keep you informed of our plans and new developments.

There is no ideal solution in situations like this, only different degrees of viability. If you normally give a love offering in-person on Sundays, we ask you to consider giving electronically now. You can do this by going to our website where you will find several payment options.
And in the meantime, I invite you to hold in consciousness, the following prayer:

“We are in the presence of pure Spirit. Our entire planet is immersed in Truth that Life, Love, Health, and Wholeness is our very essence.

We radiate our wholeness, as we draw on the only source of life – the Spirit of the Living God.

Spirit pours its quickening life into each individual and our planet as we turn our attention to Spirit’s healing presence.

We trust Spirit to restore us to harmony and health. And everything not in alignment with harmony and health returns to the nothingness from which it has come."

And so it is.

Peace and Blessings,

Rev. James Trapp
