As the state continues implementation of the four-stage framework to allow Californians to gradually reopen some lower-risk businesses and public spaces while continuing to preserve public health, Governor Gavin Newsom has announced that based on the state’s progress in meeting metrics tied to indicators, the state can begin to move into Stage 2 of modifying the stay at home order this Friday, May 8, with guidelines released Thursday, May 7.
This does not mean that ALL businesses are permitted by the state to open on Friday. The state will have a detailed list of what businesses are permitted to open at that time. Once allowed to open, most businesses will be affected by these new guidelines and requirements and we encourage our members to be vigilant in the expectations and how they may affect their business.
While we await these written guidelines and clarification from county officials, we at the Lemoore Chamber wanted to remind our members to continue to use this time to find ways to adapt your business to the current situation we are facing. While there are many questions that still need to be answered we can work together now to be as proactive as possible.
Please click the link below for our Lemoore Chamber "Things to Consider" Guide. We have compiled a list of things you may want to consider for your business as you prepare to open back up. And if you would like to contribute to the list, send me an email! I would love to hear your ideas! Remember, we are all in this together!
