Dear SwimRunners,
As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected events all over the country and IGNITE SwimRun is no exception. Our event venues are closed for the foreseeable future and new registrations have all but stopped, making it difficult to continue operating as is. While we had hoped to weather this storm, we are forced to make some tough decisions. Effective May 15, 2020, Rip It Events LLC will acquire IGNITE SwimRun LLC. IGNITE Knoxville and Minnesota will be cancelled indefinitely. IGNITE Maryland will become
SwimRun Maryland
and will be operated by Rip It Events on May 8, 2021 at Greenbrier State Park. Those that have registered for IGNITE Knoxville and Minnesota will receive an email with additional information about their registrations.
We are grateful that you chose IGNITE this year and in years past. THANK YOU for promoting IGNITE SwimRun to your communities. We have had a blast creating unique event experiences and have made many friends along the way. And while IGNITE is closing its doors, SwimRun is still very much alive. We encourage you to continue spreading the word about SwimRun and hope you consider SwimRun Maryland next year.

About Rip It Events
Rip It Events is owned by Danny Serpico (IGNITE SwimRun Co-Owner). Founded in 2010 and based in Maryland, Rip It Events produces road and trail running races, triathlon and duathlon races. Additionally, Rip It Events offers race event services (i.e. timing services, equipment rental, and race management) and individual multi-sport athlete coaching.
