Dear Friends and Customers,

It is with mixed emotions we inform you the Pueblo store will be relocating to the original Cañon City location at 212 S. 4th Street, effective July 1, 2023.

While the Pueblo store is a huge success, it has become increasingly challenging operating both locations at the level of quality and customer satisfaction that we demand of ourselves for our patrons. By consolidating First Stitches to one location, we can offer better service and faster repair times, as we continue to bring excitement to the quilters and sewists in Southern Colorado.

In Cañon City, we will continue to sell Baby Lock and Janome machines and offer full service for warranty work and repairs for most makes and models, including our Brother machines. Also, we will continue to offer free machine classes, as we have since 2012, for those who have purchased their machines from us.

We will also be expanding our hours in Cañon City. We will be open on Mondays and our regular hours will be 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday, and Saturdays until 3:00pm starting in July.

F.A.N. Club members will be able to use their memberships both online, over the phone, and in the Cañon City store as usual. Classes currently taught at the Pueblo store, will now be taught at the Cañon City location starting in late summer.

All machine maintenance and repairs will be done at the Cañon City location. We will be able to provide faster turnaround time for service and we will be on-site and available for your sewing and embroidery machine needs.

The original Cañon City location is only 30 minutes from our Pueblo store and from Pueblo West it takes approximately 20 minutes to arrive in scenic and beautiful Cañon City.

Merging both stores will allow us to offer the best pricing on machines, fabric and notions. This will keep us competitive with online fabric discount stores and online machine discount stores, who are now permitted to advertise and sell anywhere, including our once-exclusive territory here in Colorado.

Teri, and several Pueblo teachers will be joining us in Cañon City and have so many great ideas for more classes, retreats and events in both Cañon City and in the Pueblo area. We will keep you busy!

Most sincerely and with sew much love,

- Randy & Kim

P.S. If you, or if you know someone who may be interested in acquiring the Pueblo store, we are open to a conversation.

NOTE: Inventory Relocation Sales will start in a few days. Expect HUGE savings on fabric, accessories, and notions, as we work towards merging both stores in the next few months.

Watch your emails. There will be LOTS of information coming in the next several weeks.
