Hello Everyone, We hope that this email finds you all well. We also hope that everyone has recuperated from Hurricane Helene. We know that there was a lot of damage, and we hope that everyone has gotten back to some sort of normalcy. With that said, we want to bring you up to date with the BRHJA .

 Before Hurricane Helene hit, there was a BRHJA Member meeting to discuss the future of BRHJA. During that meeting it was determined with overwhelming support that a new board be created to take over and continue BRHJA. We are happy to announce that there were many members that offered to volunteer for the board positions. This email will serve as a way for you to nominate the individual members for a board position. The final meeting to elect a new board will be held Friday November 22 during Harmon Classics Holiday Premier Show. The meeting will be at the end of the show day and there will be light refreshments offered by Harmon Classics. We are going to provide you with a list of those nominees as well as requirements to fill the board positions. So please make sure to read the requirements to vote BEFORE you nominate for a position.

Requirements to Nominate

    1. The person making a nomination for ANY Board position must be in good standing of the BRHJA.

    2. PLEASE NOTE: Do not nominate any member for ANY position without their prior consent, knowledge, and agreement to serve, if elected.

    3. Board Member positions are for a term of 3 years, except for Junior position which will be a one year term. The Junior position, a non voting position, will be selected at each Annual BRHJA General meeting which will be held during the Awards Banquet. 

    4. All positions, Executive and At-Large, may only be filled by active Senior Members in good standing of the BRHJA. 

    5. Nominations for positions in the Executive Committee, and At-Large Committee can only be submitted by active Senior BRHJA Members in good standing of the association. 

    6. The Junior member position may only be filled by an active Junior Member in good standing with BRHJA. 

    7. Nominations for the Junior Member position may only be made and submitted by an active Junioe Member in good standing with BRHJA.

Nomination forms MUST BE Submitted by Thursday November 21. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the BRHJA Meeting November 22 at the Holiday Premier Horse Show at TIEC in the Indoor Rings.
