First Day of School
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 19! We're excited to connect with our students no matter which learning option you chose for your family.

REMINDER: We're starting the school year on the Staggered Schedule for Traditional/Blended students. Please refer to our revised calendar for the Green (last name A-L) and Gold (last name M-Z) Group schedules. Green Group will start on 8/19, Gold Group will start on 8/20. All students will take part in at-home learning on Friday, 8/21. For the first few days of school, all students, regardless of learning option choice, will take part in digital integration lessons to introduce and/or revisit learning management systems, technology, and online learning platforms utilized by Pelham City Schools.

When you take pictures of your students starting school at home or on school campuses this week, use the hashtag #PelhamFirstDay or send photos via email to [email protected]! We'll post them on social media and in our eNewsletter!

Important Information about Health & Wellness
The health and well-being of our students and employees have been at the forefront of our planning efforts for the return to school. Please partner with us to help promote a healthy school environment by screening your student for COVID-19 symptoms each day before coming to school or boarding a school bus. Click here to review screening guidelines and other details related to students who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms at school, self-quarantine, and return to school criteria.
Face Masks for In-Person Learning
REMINDER: Cloth face masks that cover the nose and mouth are required for all students and staff. ADPH guidance states that the CDC does not recommend the use of face shields for normal, everyday activities or as a substitute for cloth face coverings. Circumstances may allow face coverings to be removed in certain situations depending on physical distancing, class activities, etc.
School Start Times

Bus Stops & Schedules
If your student rides the bus, be sure to check the bus schedule information. Some bus numbers and times have changed since last year. To view bus stops & pick up/drop off times, click here.

Reminders: Morning pick up and afternoon drop off times are approximate. Please have your student at the stop 5 minutes before morning stop time. We ask for your patience in the first few weeks of school as we learn which students plan to ride the bus, add stops for new students, and make adjustments to routes as needed. Check for updates to times and route information and view the School Bus Rules & Expectations on the Transportation page on PelhamCitySchools.org
Meal Distribution, Cafeteria Menus & Student Accounts
Meals will be available for pick up at each school for students during the Staggered Schedule weeks and for Remote or Blended students. Click here for important details about pick up day/times, etc.

Also, visit Departments/Child Nutrition Program on PelhamCitySchools.org where you'll find menus, MySchoolBucks information for student accounts, online application for free & reduced meals, and more!

The work is currently under construction and is expected to be complete later this fall. While work is ongoing, certain driveways and areas will be closed on school days between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm, and potentially at additional times on non-school days. Please use extreme caution as you drive and walk around campus.
