Supply Chain Management
1. BearBuy Unavailable Friday, August 18, 6am to 9pm

Due to system patch work, BearBuy will be unavailable on Friday August 18th from 6am to 9pm. This is a critical security patch that needs to be deployed to multiple support systems campus wide. HCM, BLU, BearBuy and BFS will all be affected. 


BearBuy support staff will be focused on processing transactions early in the week to mitigate the Friday outage. We are asking Campus Users to work on critical purchases as early as possible. 

We realize this has major impact on Campus Users but the benefits mean higher security across all our services. Thanks for your cooperation!

2. Non-Catalog Item Link Changes

Beginning Monday, August 21st, the non-catalog item link visible underneath the Shopping Search Bar will redirect shoppers to the standard Non-Catalog purchasing form. Consolidating all non catalog purchases to a form will allow support staff to better manage workflow and provide quicker turnaround times to campus users.

3. Updated Vendoring Frequently Asked Questions
Visit the SCM Vendoring Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page to view a list of commonly asked Vendoring unit, form and processing questions.  We will be adding additional FAQs as needed.

If you have a questions, but unable to find an answer in the FAQ section, please feel free submit your questions using the Vendoring Feedback/Questions link located on the main Vendoring webpage
4. 'Did you know?' Useful BearBuy Tip Reminder

Q: I want to verify that a Supplier is available for shopping in BearBuy. How can I search for a Supplier in BearBuy? 

    

A: As of July 5th, all BearBuy users have the ability to search for Suppliers in BearBuy. To search for a supplier:


1. Navigate to the Supplier Management menu icon




2. Enter the name of the Supplier you wish to search for, then click GO.





3. All supplier profiles containing at least one key word you enter will be displayed
