Foundation Risk Partners continues to work with Unum to provide you with Supplemental Individual Disability Insurance (IDI). Supplemental IDI complements your Group Long Term Disability coverage and allows you to protect a greater portion of your income if you are disabled due to a covered illness or injury.
Your IDI plan includes a feature that automatically increases your coverage as your income increases.
- Increase feature is designed to help you maintain approximately the same percentage of income protection coverage as before your insurable income increased

Maximum benefit of $10,000 (not to exceed 75% income replacement)
Due to an increase in compensation, you are eligible to obtain additional coverage through the IDI plan without providing evidence of insurability. The increase to your IDI policy will be processed automatically. A packet will be mailed to your home address next week, which will outline your increased benefit and premium.
What to do if you DO NOT want the increase?
If you DO NOT wish to purchase additional coverage, you will need to sign and return the declination form included in your increase packet, by the deadline of March 29, 2024.
