The Siouxland Recovery Fund
is accepting grant applications from organizations in Woodbury, Plymouth, Dakota & Union counties that have seen an increased need and have provided direct community response due to
COVID-19.

The Western Iowa Labor Federation
and union members throughout Woodbury County are partnering with
The Siouxland Soup Kitchen
on a donation drive on Friday, June 5 from 3:00-6:00 pm and Saturday June 6 from 9:00 am-Noon. Donations will be accepted at the Communication Workers of America Local #7103 parking lot, 1325 Lewis Blvd, Sioux City, IA.

To support families during COVID, United Way is proud to announce a new resource in partnership with the National Campaign for Grade Level Reading and Nickelodeon called Noggin Cares, an educational online platform for parents with young children. Noggin Cares is available for 90 days at no cost.

Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center
& Woodbury County Conservation Board are providing virtual programs via Zoom, Facebook Live, and YouTube during June. Additionally
each week a new self-guided scavenger hunt or self-guided activity will be added to our trails. Stop out to the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center and hike and learn! The Nature Center building is still closed, but trails are open. For more informaiton email:

Girls Inc. of Sioux City
is serving FREE Grab 'n Go dinners from 4:30-5:30pm Monday-Friday for children 18 and under and their caregivers.

The Sioux City Community School District is once again participating in the Summer Food Service Program, beginning June 3, 2020, through Aug 14, 2020 (closed Jul 3). Meals are available Monday – Friday for all children ages 1-18 years without charge. Each child present will receive a breakfast sack and a lunch sack to be taken off-site for consumption.

South Sioux City Community Schools, in partnership with Lunchtime Solutions, Inc., will be serving free meals to youth in the community age 18 and under during the month of June 2020. Please come to Covington Elementary on Tuesdays & Fridays from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM to pick up your meals.
