Important Community Updates
March 12, 2020

Dear CITY Families,

Due to the recent events, and due to our ongoing commitment to provide the healthiest and safest environment for the members of our community, we will be suspending all practices and workouts through Sunday March 22nd . At this time, we will reassess the situation and create a further plan of action, which may include an extended suspension.

Robe, Stef and the CITY Admin Team will be in frequent communication with you throughout this time, and we will ensure that all of our CITY players are provided with appropriate self-training recommendations/requirements during the suspension of practices and team activities. (More on this soon!)

As of today, USA Volleyball has not announced the cancellations of the Kansas City Qualifier or the Las Vegas Qualifiers. We will monitor and communicate updates. Here is a link to the current status of all USAV Qualifiers. USAV Corona Virus Response

THE 5'Cs
CITY realizes that our STAY GOLD values of CHARACTER, CONFIDENCE, COMMITMENT, COMPASSION and COMMUNITY mean more than ever especially in a time when the world is filled with so many fears and unknowns.

As a  COMMUNITY , CITY is here to support each of you in any way possible.

We believe each of our CITY players will build in  CHARACTER  by learning to stay healthy and be disciplined by working on their game at home while practices are postponed.

Our CITY girls need to have  CONFIDENCE  that with time and smart decisions they will be ok and life will go back to normal.

Each CITY player should make a  COMMITMENT  to work hard every day to stay in shape and continue to improve their game even though they are not able to practice with their team.

Lastly, and most importantly, this is a time for all of us to have  COMPASSION  for one another. We have to remember that everyone is afraid of the unknown and being kind and compassionate to one another is the most important act we need to follow.

Please share this important community update email with your daughter!

Stay well and all our best,

Robe, Stef and the CITY TEAM
