The Council for Professional Recognition continuously works to enhance our credentialing process. It is our goal to ensure that each person has a successful experience with the online YourCouncil platform and receives the pertinent notifications and communications the platform provides on a regular basis. After careful consideration, we have decided to end our paper initial and renewal applications. The final day paper applications will be accepted is December 31, 2025.


Why is the paper application process ending?

  • Applying and renewing online is a time effective way to complete the process.
  • Applying and renewing the CDA® credential online through YourCouncil provides automatic access to critical information regarding your credential in a timely manner.
  • Accessing the voucher payment option is only available through YourCouncil.
  • Having an online account provides you with communication to access the new digital credential. The new digital credential allows you to highlight your achievements on your personal online platforms. You can find additional information on this exciting new benefit here.
