Government Lessens
Restrictions for Sport
Today's Government of NS Covid-19 Update brought welcoming news to the equestrian community.
Effective Monday, January 25th, gathering limits for all sport in NS will increase to 50 people in a sport bubble. Equestrian activity such as clinics, events, trail rides and competitions for participants who regularly gather together for such activity is now permitted.

As you will note in the Sport Nova Scotia Covid-19 and Sport Q and A , the restrictions do have some limitations, such as no spectators or auditors.

Please contact Heather Myrer if you require further clarification on today's announcement, including if you are uncertain as to whether or not your event is permitted under these new restrictions.

In the meantime, cautiously move forward with increasing your gathering and extended travel circles.

Trail Patrol Program Ceased
A message from NS Trails

NS Trails has announced the cessation of its Trail Patrol program due to various factors outlined in this announcement. Although this is disappointing news, the development of a provincial trail etiquette campaign is a high priority NS Trails over the coming year and we will be reaching out to stakeholders for input as they move forward.
