Based on this initiative the Mansfield Community Center will begin the following changes to our operations beginning Monday, November 23:
  • Masks are to be worn at all times with the exception of in the pool. This includes when working out on cardio machines and when taking classes.

  • Classes. We were already within guidelines for our group fitness classes but we will continue to monitor and make adjustments as needed.

  • Basketball court reservations have a maximum of 3 people and pickleball two per side of court. Basketball courts are for shooting skills only, no competetive  play. Courts may also be used for soccer for skill work play too, 3 or less. No competitive use.

We will continue to work diligently for the health and safety of all of our members, staff and other guests through these changes.

We thank you for continuing to support us as we work together to provide the community with valuable options for physical and mental health during these extraordinary times.

Please Continue to Self-Screen Before You Come!

  • We cannot tell you how much we appreciate the caution all of our members and staff have been exercising. While many of you know the questions by heart, here is a reminder for self-screening at home:
  • Have you been in close contact with confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
  • Are you experiencing a new cough, new shortness of breath, or new sore throat?
  • Have you had a fever of 100.4F or greater in the last 48 hours?
  • Take your temperature - if it is 100.4 or higher, please don’t come in.
  • Remember - an answer of "YES" to any of these means you need to stay home.

Still not sure what "close contact" is?
"Close contact" is defined by the health district as having spent 15 minutes or more with-in 6 feet a COVID-positive person.

With the social distancing measures in place in our facility, there should be no point where our members meet this definition. Please mind the social distancing markers, and other signs and reminders to keep yourself and others as safe as possible.

The above stated policy is subject to change at any time with updated public health data and guidance from public health officials.
Reminders of general facility-wide procedures:
MASKS or cloth face coverings that completely cover the nose and mouth are required except in the pools.

SOCIAL DISTANCING is required of facility users. Follow signage for traffic patterns throughout the facility.
WAIVER AND RELEASE All members wishing to participate in Community Center activities must sign the waiver and release found here.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING is increased and intensified throughout the facility. Employees will clean all equipment frequently and members must wipe down equipment before and after each use with provided products and materials that meet EPA and CDC guidelines for use against COVID-19. Each area will be closed twice daily for full area deep cleaning and disinfecting. A third deep cleaning and disinfection will occur in the evening when the facility is closed to the public.

WATER FOUNTAINS are closed. Please bring your own water bottle. Water bottle refill stations may be used for refill of personal water bottles only.
