Dear Families,

I hope that you all are having a safe and creative spring break.

As we expected, the Governor has extended the suspension of face-to-face instruction through Friday May 1st, with the potential for an additional extension . While we would love to have the students and staff back together, it is very comforting to know our separation is helping to combat the spread of the virus in Ohio. There should be a seamless transition back to online learning after spring break, as the teachers are already preparing lessons for your children to begin on Monday, April 6.

We are so proud of how the students transitioned to virtual learning with very short notice. Our teachers have reported that participation and quality of work was very high during the first two weeks. We know that it may become more challenging to maintain engagement over the coming weeks, so please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas.

Later this week, you will receive a grade level email providing additional updates and reminders. We will also let you know that status of end of year activities like trips and special events as soon as decision are made.

Next week we will be hosting two virtual parent meetings, one for middle school and one for high school. Details regarding date, time, and login instructions will be sent by Monday, April 6.

Teachers, staff, and administrators will continue to be available via email while the building is closed. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.Thank you for your support and patience.

Stay safe,

Robin Fisher
