EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF LINCOLN CENTRAL
|
|
Nothing says magic like Lincoln Central's annual neighborhood events, so please join us this Sunday evening, September 15th, as we bring the neighborhood together for yet another magical evening in
award-winning
Fire Station Park & Gardens.
Evening in the Garden,
one of Lincoln Central's most popular events,
is
a reception style gathering celebrating our wonderful neighborhood and saluting our volunteers. The public is invited to attend regardless of your neighborhood or LCA affiliation.
Evening in the Garden
will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (but, we'll stay as long as you're having a good time). This year's event will feature complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine and sangria from popular neighborhood food and beverage establishments including
J9 Wine Bar
,
the deli at
Carnival Grocery,
and
Cedar Palace Restaurant.
And
, due to the popularity of the neighborhood potluck table at our
Summer Sipper
event over the years,
Evening in the Garden
now also features a potluck table. It is not necessary to bring a dish to attend or to enjoy the offerings prepared by others.
If you've never been to one of LCA's Fire Station Park events, a
brief video
from one of LCA's previous events in the park can be found below.

NEIGHBORHOOD POTLUCK FROM THE HEART
A Favorite at Fire Station Park Events
|
|
Enjoy Lincoln Central’s neighborhood potluck table of treats at
Evening in the Garden
. Originally a feature at
Summer Sipper
each year, the growing popularity of the neighborhood potluck table led to its inclusion at
Evening in the Garden
beginning last year.
We invite you to enjoy savory and sweet treats prepared by LCA members and others in the neighborhood—many inspired by the flavors of the garden. (You'd be amazed at how many recipes are traded among neighbors after our fabulous potlucks.) And feel free to bring your own creation should the spirit move you. If not, we still hope to see you Sunday evening under the stars at award-winning
Fire Station Park
.
But remember, it is not necessary to participate in the potluck to attend or to partake of the table. Consider it a gift from the heart!
|
|
