2021-2022 COVID Updates:
We are expecting an update from the Hamilton County Health Department soon. More information will be forthcoming once that update is received.

It is out intent to follow suit with policies of other local schools. Masks will be optional. We will do our best to maintain social distancing and will continue to clean high-touch areas of the school.

Lunch Duty Calendar:
We are switching things up this year and started where we left off in May with the H part of the alphabet! This is only August & September done for now but wanted to give these families plenty of notice for scheduling purposes. Please check the lunch duty calendar here and make a note of your assigned days. Click here to view.
As a tithing parish that does not charge tuition, our lunch program relies on parent volunteers each day. The number of volunteer spots needed in the cafeteria throughout the year exceeds the number of students enrolled in the school. Therefore, it is necessary for families to serve lunch duty a minimum of three days. This is the only required commitment of service we ask of our parents each year. If parents are not able to serve on their assigned dates, it is the parents’ responsibility to switch dates with another protocoled adult. A protocoled adult is a person who has successfully completed the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana’s Safe and Sacred training and whose background check through this protocol system has been cleared.
School Lunches:
We are hoping to return to a more normal year in 2021-2022!

Our school we will be using is Campus Cuisine on Fridays only to start the school year. This food service operates by partnering with local restaurant vendors who deliver food to the school. So far, Chick-fil-A,, Jimmy John’s, McAllisters, Jet’s Pizza, Panera are vendors that work with Campus Cuisine to deliver food to OLMC on a rotating basis.

We will start with Pizza Fridays and hopefully add other dates of the week as the year progresses. August 13th will be our first day for this lunch option!

All students (except Half-Day Kindergarten) will need to pack a lunch with a drink every Monday through Thursday and on Fridays if not ordering pizza.

Students odering pizza on Fridays, must have an account set up with Campus Cuisine. The cafeteria is not able to accept cash payments.

welcome to the team
Staffing Updates:
We are happy to announce that the school is now fully staffed for the 2021-2022 school year!

Miss Danielle Sherman accepted the position of OLMC Computer teacher!  We are very excited to welcome her to our amazing team. Miss Sherman brings a wealth of computer teaching experience and joy of the Catholic faith to our school. She has been teaching at St. Charles in Bloomington, Indiana for the last several years and is now excited to serve the Lord here in Carmel.

The Used Uniform Committee does not currently have much of a selection of the new PE Uniform. We understand that items imprinted with the school logo take longer to ship. The PE Teacher will provide a grace period during the first week or two of school.

Students may change shoes for PE class. PE shoes may be athletic shoes of any color (they do not have to be all black or all white.
