Important Dates for the Start of the Fall Semester

Avoid last-minute stress, unexpected fees, or interruptions to your studies by keeping key deadlines in mind. From payment plan enrollment and course registration to add/drop dates, de-registration, and FAFSA opening, each date is essential to your success. Missing a deadline could impact your classes, housing, or finances—plan ahead and mark your calendar.

Wednesday, August 13 (or prior to moving into Residence Hall)

Deadline to enroll in a payment plan – including making the required down payment


Saturday, August 16

Final day for pre-registration for fall semester (without a late payment fee)


Monday, August 18

Make initial payment on payment plan to avoid de-registration – (non-residential students)


Wednesday, August 20

Deadline to register (with late registration fee) for 16-week and first 8-week courses


Friday, August 22

Deadline to add/drop classes for fall semester


Monday, August 25 (at noon)

De-registration


Thursday, August 28 (at noon)

Final reinstatement back into courses


Saturday, August 30 (by noon)

De-registered students must vacate the premises

Deadline to opt-out of textbook program for fall semester (Charges removed week of 9/15/25)


Wednesday, October 1

FAFSA opens
