Important December Information for Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center Passholders

November 2021

The Chinn Aquatic and Fitness Center will be closed temporarily between Monday, December 20, 2021 and Sunday, January 2, 2022. During this time, new flooring will be installed.

The building is scheduled to reopen on Monday, January 3.

*Pool closure will begin on Sunday, December 19 at noon. The center will will remain open until 5pm.*

During our closure, Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center and Dual Center Passholders will have access to the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center and Freedom Aquatics & Fitness Center.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this will create for many of our passholders.

Something BIG is Coming to the Weight Room at

Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center in December!

We have been patiently awaiting a delivery and are so excited to announce an upcoming upgrade that will give you the most versatile and FUNctional workout available.

Because this equipment placement will require the relocation for some equipment, we wanted to give you a heads up to prepare you! Don’t fret – we’re simply adding to our already top-of-the-line equipment availability, no pieces are being removed. Also, you can always ask a Fitness Attendant for assistance locating a piece or providing an alternative.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, Passholders and staff will be required to wear face coverings when inside the facility. Face coverings may be removed while exercising. However, face coverings must be worn while not actively exercising, including moving between exercise equipment and on the pool deck.
