UTRGV's Dye Hard Orange Walk/Run

UTRGV School of Medicine Graduate Medical Education (GME) residents participated in UTRGV's annual Dye Hard Orange Walk/Run at the Harlingen Clinical Education Building.

The physician residents joined the campus and community in celebrating wellness, Vaquero spirit, and UTRGV's 10th Anniversary. They enjoyed the lively orange‑powder "blast zones" and represented GME with energy and pride.

The La Victoria AHEC Health Education and Promotion Pachanga delivered vital health services and meaningful community connections at the Starr County Precinct 3 Commissioner's Office.

With 28 community agencies participating, the event highlighted a shared commitment to prevention and wellness. Attendees received blood pressure and body mass index screenings, vaccinations, and access to trusted local health resources and education. The South Texas Food Bank also supported families by providing food during the event.

Through strong partnerships and a collective dedication to service, the AHEC Health Education and Promotion Pachanga continues to expand access to care and strengthen the health of Starr County residents.
