Dear Valued Eagle Test Systems Customer, The purpose of this letter is to communicate important product information related to Eagle Test Systems tester computers.� Why we are writing to you — Full parts support (repair and replacement) of existing Talon 3 computers will continue for at least the next 3 years, after which time support will be on a limited/best effort basis.�From a warranty service and repair service perspective, there are no immediate changes. A limited quantity of Talon 3 computers is available for purchase before 01-JAN-2013, for use as spares.�After that date, the Talon 3 computer will no longer be available for direct purchase. However, it will be available for repair and replacement purposes. Here’s what you need to know — The Talon 3 computer is out-of-production, therefore making it difficult to obtain replacement parts.�We are conserving our remaining inventory of Talon 3 computer parts and dedicating them to providing repair and replacement support. The Talon 4 computer has been supported on all EagleVision releases since EagleVision 2010B IR13. It is available for and supported for the following Eagle testers: ETS-364/600, ETS-88, ETS200/300‡, ETS-200T‡, and ETS-200T/FT‡.�The Talon 4 does not support the ETS-500, ETS-564 or any previous Eagle tester. EagleVision software releases will continue to be supported on the Talon 3 computer for at least the next three years.
