As Facility Rentals continues to ramp up this fall and winter season here at the Renton School District we would like to share some important information regarding our current COVID-19 requirements, protocols and limitations along with some of our rules and terms of service.
Effective October 25th, 2021 the following COVID-19 requirements will begin or remain in effect for all Facility Rental clients. For questions about specific needs or clarification, please contact us at the Facility Rental team.
FACE COVERING REQIREMENT
Current masking requirements are and will remain in effect for all participants and users of district facilities which includes everyone, regardless of vaccination status. Users are required to wear a face covering indoors and outdoors if the total participants is greater than 500. Additional information is available in the Washington Department of Health face coverings FAQ. For performing arts events such as band and orchestra concerts, plays, and dance recitals, please contact the Theater Manager for information and questions.
PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Each Facility Rental client must verify that every participant, staff member, volunteer, contractor, etc. over the age of 12 is fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or can show a negative test result within the previous 72 hours prior to entry to a district facility. This requirement applies to all district locations including but not limited to: classrooms, libraries, commons, gyms, grass and turf fields, theaters, stadium, etc.
We ask that records are kept for each event held and have the ability to provide documented proof of compliance upon the request of the district.
What can be used as proof of vaccination?

CDC vaccination card or photo of vaccine card.
- Documented proof of vaccination from medical record or vaccine provider.

Printed certificate or QR code from MyIRMobile.com.
You do not need to check identification with proof of vaccination.
