Fremont Township is open, however we are limiting public access to our administrative offices. We have many people come through our building and do not want to put any of our resident’s health in jeopardy and are taking heed to the social distancing warnings. Our food pantry clients will still be able to pick up food by appointment, but it will be done curbside. Our caseworker will be available by phone at (847) 223-2847.
If you need to access the assessor’s office, please call (847) 223-2846 as they will be working and may be able to accommodate your needs by phone.
If you plan on voting tomorrow, you must go to your designated voting location. The polls will be open from 6 am until 7 pm. If Fremont Township is your designated location, please park behind the building and enter through the lower level doors.
This is a great time to check on your neighbors who may be afraid to venture out due to compromised health conditions. What makes our community great is the care and concern for others.
If you are wondering how you can help, we appreciate donations to our food pantry. We ask that you leave them on our front porch. We are particularly in need of peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, applesauce, crackers, spaghetti sauce, noodles, mac and cheese, condiments, cereal, oatmeal snacks for the kids and sides. We appreciate any donations.
My sincere thank you!
