Working Group on Gluten and Food Allergens

AOAC International is looking for working group members for their Gluten & Food Allergens program. This program has already developed guidance documents for the validation of qualitative and quantitative gluten and allergen test methods and is now planning to work on an end-user guidance document for gluten and food allergen assays. If your organization uses gluten or food allergen test kits, and if you have ever had questions such as how to choose the right method for your products, how to verify that a method works for your product type, or how to interpret contradictory results across different test methods, your input could be helpful. Request to join the working group

Thank you to all of our GFCO-certified brands who have already donated to our GIG Cares Cutting Costs box benefiting those who are facing gluten-free food insecurity. We are able to take short-dated product (3 or more months from expiration), packaging changes, etc. for our food boxes that we send out to 500 families each month. We are in desperate need of donations of products for our upcoming boxes. Please reach out to us if you can help! caresadmin@gigcares.org.

GIG Cares would like to give a special shout-out to Canyon Bakehouse and Better Batter for going above and beyond in their work with GIG Cares.
