  • For those attending the South Course VIP tent, golf clubs will be transported back to the parking lot, where they will be stored and guarded inside the parking structure by the elevator until 4pm. Despite how long Farmers Open runs that day, BGC Staff will take all remaining unclaimed golf clubs to our Solana Beach location at 4pm. During Tournament

Tee Time
Tee time begins promptly at 7:30am. There will be a SHORT presentation around 7am.

Food & Beverage
Hosted bars and water coolers, as well as grill stations serving street tacos, will be located throughout the course during your play. In addition, BGC staff will be driving carts around filled with drinks and snacks for your enjoyment.

At registration, you will be given a PINK Chip-In Tournament lanyard to identify yourself that MUST be worn to receive complimentary food and beverages on the North Course. Those without this badge cannot be served. We have had notable problems in the past with the general public walking up and ordering beverages at our bar. Please remember we are a charity trying to raise money, so accommodating these requests works against the principal of our tournament.
After Tournament

Clubs, Cart, & Scorecard Drop Off
Scorecards MUST BE COMPLETE and turned into BGC staff at staging area in order to compete.

All carts MUST be returned to staging area. Do NOT drive carts to or on the south course. Doing so may result in removal from the grounds. Shuttles will be provided from the staging area to the south course border should you desire.

If attending the South Course VIP tent, give golf clubs to BGC Staff at conclusion of tournament. Clubs will be shuttled over to the parking lot and stored securely until your departure.

Golf Clubs will be available for pick up from the parking garage until 4pm, despite how long Farmer’s Open runs that day. BGC Staff will take all remaining unclaimed golf clubs to our Solana Beach location ( 533 Lomas Santa Fe Drive ) Contact SuLynn at 858-774-1766 the following week for pick up.

FRINGE Sports Bar VIP Tent
Upon returning your scorecard and cart, you will trade in your pink badge for a blue badge and a silver wristband. This will allow you entrance into the FRINGE Sports Bar on the 15th green where golfers will enjoy food, beverages and seating in our private cabana to watch the finals of The Farmers Open.

Note: Only players are given badges & wristbands to the VIP Tent. We have a set number of badges due to Farmers Open Security and badges cannot be passed along or shared with others. If extra badges are needed, they will be available the day of the tournament (based on participant vacancy) ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS for $250 each. Badges come with complimentary food and beverage.

All golfers will be required to WALK (about ½ a mile) over to The FRINGE as no carts are allowed on the South Course during tournament play. Taking a cart on the South Course may result in ejection from the grounds. For ADA assistance, please contact SuLynn in advance.

Food & Beverage at FRINGE
Food and beverage is complimentary in The FRINGE VIP Cabana after the event. You MUST be in Cabanas 11, 12, 13 & 14 and be wearing your silver wristband in order to receive complimentary service. If you are in the general area of the Fringe Bar, OR in a different cabana, retail prices apply and/or you may not be served. Pre-set food will be available in the tent for all to enjoy, however, you are able to make special requests through our VIP servers.
