Welcome Back to a New School Year!
We're excited to welcome students to campus tomorrow, August 12, for our Student Orientation Day! Here are a few important reminders for Orientation Day and our First Day of School!
Our Student Orientation Day tomorrow, August 12, is a great chance for students to get off to a great start! Students will get their iPads, learn more about activities, counseling and athletics, and learn more about the campus! Students will also have their ID photos taken. Click below to download a detailed schedule of the day.
Our First Day of School, August 13, is almost here! We will be following a modified first day of school schedule. For students using SJM Transportation, departure time will be 1:45 because of the early dismissal time of 1:30 p.m.
New Parent Orientation Day will be held on Monday, August 16, at 6 p.m. Come learn more about all Memorial can offer you. Staff and Administrators will be available to answer questions. The program will feature four, fifteen minute rotating sessions covering governance, academics, student services, counseling, activities and athletics.

Sign in begins at 5:45 p.m. in front of the Academic Center.

We look forward to answering your questions and welcoming you to Memorial!
Transportation Note
Note: SJM will not be providing transportation to the orientation day. Transportation will start on August 13, the first day of school. All vans will leave that day from SJM after school at 1:45 p.m. due to the modified schedule for the first day of school. Host Families Needed
We have received some late interest from a small number of students from Spain who would like to enroll at SJM. They are Catholic, speak very good English and are good students.

To enroll these students we need host families and we are extending this opportunity to our school community before branching out into the broader community. There is a $500 per month stipend for each student. The students are 10th and 11th graders, both boys and girls.

If you have any interest in being a host family please reach out to to us at (559) 268-9251 or email mburke@sjmhs.org.
