We have been hearing great reports and tremendous sales results from this year’s “2019 LHC Popcorn Arcade: “Ready, Scout, Sell!”
 
We would like to equip your unit with all of the information needed and support to close out your sale in the best way possible.
2019 POPCORN IMPORTANT UPCOMING DEADLINES!

Monday October 28 All Show N Sell Popcorn returns due to Council by 4pm

NOTE: There will be no show-n-sell popcorn product
returns accepted after October 28

Monday October 28    Take Order Due
November 15 Prize Orders Due
November 15 – 16    Take Order Distribution
(NOTE: Additional information coming soon on take order distribution times & locations)

November 15-16 All Payments Due

Deadline for payment is at Take Order Distribution for your District when picking up additional popcorn ordered. If your unit did not order additional product, please pay by this date.
SHOW-N-SELL POPCORN RETURNS INFORMATION!

  • Every unit should still striving to sell the remainder product prior to turning in.

  • ALSO, please review your take order sales and DO NOT RETURN POPCORN THAT CAN HELP FILL YOUR TAKE ORDER SALES. If you have popcorn left over from show-n-sell, use that product to fill out take order. Do not order that same popcorn during your take order portion. Just keep it and do not order. (Seems simple, but every year we have units return popcorn they simply should have kept to keep their lives easier. Why return popcorn that you will need to come back and get two weeks later?)

 
NEW & EXCITING PRIZES!! ORDER PRIZES AS SOON YOUR UNIT'S SALE IS FINALIZED!

  • Encourage every Scout to make a last minute push to obtain their goals and reach for that next prize level!

  • WE HAVE GREAT PRIZES THIS YEAR FOR TOP DISTRICT SALES AND COUNCIL SALES!


  • PRIZE ORDERS ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 15.

  • NOTE: Prizes will be approved and released for shipment within 5 to 7 business days after full payment is received.

  • That means if your unit receives your invoice by November 1 and pays the same day, your unit could receive your prizes before your take order popcorn for the first time ever!

 
2% COMMISSION BONUS FOR 5% GROWTH OVER LAST YEAR’S SALES TOTAL!

  • Every unit should be striving to close out your sale strong & sell more than 5% of your last year’s total to earn an additional 2% commission!


  • Reminder: If your unit was new to the sale this year you are awarded the 2 % bonus for joining the sale!
 

PAYMENTS!

  • Payment Invoices will be sent out to units by November 1. NOTE: These invoices will reflect the commission % earned and any returned show-n-sell product.

  • Units are expected to pay once invoices are received and no later than at the Popcorn Distribution for Take Order product on November 15 or 16.

A 2% commission penalty will be assessed on all late payments.
