Student Academic Success Services (SASS) Workshops
Have you met Student Academic Success Services ? SASS is home to Learning Strategies & The Writing Centre who offer free undergraduate workshops on academic skills such as time management, reading, writing, exam prep, and more.

Consider going to one of their upcoming workshops such as:

  • Thesis Thursdays
  • Procrastination, Focus, and Motivation
  • Developing Arguments in Essays

Note that you can also run an  Academic Advisement Report  to see what you have completed and still need to complete in order to meet your degree requirements.
Queen's Undergraduate Internship Program (QUIP)

QUIP internships are all 12 or 16 months in length, paid, and full-time. Students who complete an internship through QUIP would graduate with a “Professional Internship” designation on their degree and transcript. 

1.   Environment and Climate Change Canada  is hiring an intern for the role of  Engineering, Environmental Science or other Scientific Studies Coop Student for the Regulatory Implementation and Operations Section (RIOS) - Oil, Gas and Alternative Energy Division . Posting closes October 4 th . Position starts January 2019.

2. The City of Kingston  is hiring an intern for the role of  Public Relations and Outreach Specialist  (JOB ID: 96713) and  Digital Communications Intern  (JOB ID: 97956). Postings close Sept 27 th  and Oct. 1, respectively. Positions start January 2019.

3.   Honeywell  is hiring an intern for the role of Product Marketing Intern. Postings close October 2 nd , position starts January 2019.
