Greetings!

We are so excited to welcome you to City Winter Day Camp these school holidays, and we are sure that your camper is excitedly counting down the days!

This email contains important information to ensure that your camper will be well prepared and ready for camp.

If your camper is unwell, is experiencing any symptoms of illness, or has tested positive for a contagious disease (including covid-19) prior to camp, they will not be able to attend camp. Please contact your Camp Director for further information.

Outstanding Invoices
Just a reminder, as the camp dates are quickly approaching, it is crucial that we receive your payment to secure your place on camp. Our BSB and account number can be found on the invoice, or to pay by credit card sign in to your account here. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us via the contact details below.

Registration
If you are running late for either drop-off or pick-up please let us know as soon as possible via SMS to 0431 218 049.

At CYC City
For campers being dropped off directly at CYC City (538 Collins Street, Melbourne, 3000), drop-off is each morning from 8:30-9:00AM, and pick-up is each afternoon from 5:00-5:30PM. One of our friendly leaders will be in the lobby to welcome you to camp.

Please note, we are unable to guarantee that campers will be back from their excursion any earlier than 4:45PM. For this reason, we are not able to facilitate early pick-up.

Train Service from Ringwood Station
For campers who are taking the train, sign-in is from 8:00-8:15AM each morning at Ringwood Station. Pick-up is each afternoon from 5:45-6:00PM. Please meet the leaders at the Station Street side of the train station (near the 2-min drop-off parking). Keep an eye out for the registration flag and City Day Camp hats!

Please note, train service from Ringwood Station is an additional $5 per day, and must be pre-booked, to ensure that we have enough Myki cards available for each camper. If you would like to change your drop-off or pick-up location, please inform your Camp Director via SMS by no later than 8:00PM the evening before.

Tech-Free Camp
It is also important to note that camp is a tech-free environment. No electronic devices including mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches are allowed at camp, and we ask that they not be brought on site. We understand that this can be a challenge for some, however, it is important in ensuring a fun, safe environment for everyone on camp. If you need to contact your child at any point during camp, please feel free to call me using the number below.

Money
We ask that you please not send any money to camp. All meals and snacks will be provided throughout the day, and there will be no opportunity for shopping.

We also ask that campers do not bring any valuables, toys, or other personal belongings to Day Camp.

Medications
If your camper is bringing ANY medication on camp (asthma puffer included) you must fill out the medication request form. This form is required for us to be able to give campers their medication. ALL medication must be brought in original packaging to camp, and placed in a snap-lock bag along with the completed form with their name clearly marked.

Of course, if you have any questions in the lead-up to camp, please don’t hesitate to contact me; my contact details are listed below.

Otherwise, we can’t wait for your camper to GO! experience City Day Camp these holidays, and we look forward to seeing you then!
