Conference Kicks Off Wednesday Night!
Important Details for Conference Attendees
The 2021 Conference Committee is excited to welcome you to the 53rd Annual NYSOEA Conference! Please be sure to read the revised Conference Booklet before Thursday to see updated information on workshop offerings. Below is some important information and reminders.
Did you let us know your Saturday plans (including Stewardship)?

If you registered for the full conference but haven't let us know that you AREN'T attending an Educator Exchange on Saturday, OR if you are a student/SCA and haven't told us which Saturday site you ARE attending, please email us ASAP!

If you plan to help with a stewardship project on Saturday, please email Casey Franklin ASAP.
The conference is virtual Wed.- Friday; Join as much as you can!

Registered participants can jump on and off the conference platform any time, so you can participate in as many sessions and activities as your schedule allows. (We recommend all of them, of course!). Log into your Hopin account, and then click on the event to join.
Participate in the BioBlitz!

Throughout the virtual conference, take part in a BioBlitz competition! Each region of NYSOEA will compete to see who can find the most species during lunch and breaks. Teams will compete for virtual "privileges" and overall bragging rights! You will need an iNaturalist account; we recommend reading the BioBlitz instructions before Thursday so you can participate right away!
Technology Tips:

The conference platform, Hopin, recommends using the latest versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox on your laptop or computer. If all you have is a mobile device, you can download the Hopin app and watch the conference on your phone.

During the conference, there will be committee members available to answer questions in the "Tech Booth" at the "Expo." The Expo will be on the lower left side of your screen.
Saturday Details (including carpooling info):

If you are attending a Saturday Educator Exchange and haven't already, check out the detailed information about what to bring, lunch options, directions, carpooling, and more. One important update: all three sites are allowing us to use indoor space, so we will be inside and outside throughout the day!
