Dear friends,

Thank you for your long-ago purchase of a ticket (entry + book) for Dan Pfeiffer’s event for Un-Trumping America: A Plan to Make America a Democracy Again. A lot has changed since March, when this event was originally scheduled, but one thing has not: the urgent need to get Trump out of office—and to hear from folks like Dan Pfeiffer, who has a plan to do so.

After several months of limbo, we are delighted to have a new date for our event with Dan Pfeiffer, now in virtual format, on Tuesday, August 25th, at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Pfeiffer will be in conversation with Second District Supervisor Zach Friend on the Crowdcast platform. The event continues to be co-sponsored by Santa Cruz Indivisible , whose work to get out the vote will be in full swing this fall.
If you purchased your original ticket online, we have your email address and your ticket will be automatically transferred to the new date via this email address. Your entry will be registered automatically by us, and you will receive an email with a link to the event. No action is needed.

If you have not already done so, you may pick up your copy of Un-Trumping America from the Information Desk at our store (10:00am-6:00pm) at your convenience, or give us a call (423-0900) to set it up at Curbside Pickup for you.

  • If you haven’t yet picked up your ticket with the voucher for your book, it is waiting for you at our Information Desk—just give us your name. We can also set it up at Curbside Pickup for you if you prefer. The ticket itself is not needed for entry; we will register you using your email. 

  • Remember, there is a voucher attached to your original paper ticket that will be removed when you claim your book. We do need that physical voucher in order to give you your book!

  • If you would like to have the book shipped to you, give us a call and we can arrange for shipping (shipping charges apply).

If you are unable to attend at the new event date, the event will be recorded for you to watch at your leisure.

If you have not yet collected your book and you do not wish to attend the rescheduled virtual event, you are still entitled to your book! Pick it up using the voucher attached to your ticket.

If you have not yet collected your book and you do not wish to attend the rescheduled virtual event and wish to relinquish your ticket/book package for a refund, we are happy to refund your ticket-book package for store credit. In order to process refunds we will need the physical ticket ( with book voucher attached ).

  • If you purchased your ticket in person, or already picked up tickets you purchased from a phone or web order you placed, we will need to process your return in the store; please bring your physical ticket and/or receipt to our Pacific Avenue registers. 

  • Tickets that were purchased and have not yet been collected are at our Information Desk, we can locate them for you and process the refund over the phone or by email, if you have your web order number.

If you have already collected your book that comes with each ticket and do not wish to, or are unable to, attend the rescheduled event and wish to relinquish the book and the ticket, you may return your book to the store with your physical ticket to receive store credit. However, please note that the book must be in like-new condition to receive a store credit . If you purchased it in the store or over the phone, and don’t still have your receipt, we can make an exception to process the refund. If you purchased it online, we can use your web order number to process the credit over the phone or by email.
