Easton Loves Local Returns July 18th - 27th

Get ready for our second annual Summer Retail Week: Easton Loves Local! Based on last year's success, we're bringing back this special summer shopping event from July 18th through 27th.

Just like Easton Restaurant Week features exclusive menu items, Easton Loves Local gives you the opportunity to showcase one special product that's only available during those nine days. Whether it's a limited-edition item, a special bundle, or something you've been saving for the perfect moment, this is your chance to create that "can't-miss" shopping experience that drives foot traffic and builds excitement.

Last year's participating retailers saw fantastic results, and many of you kept your Easton Loves Local window decals up all year long, which tells us this event really resonated with both businesses and shoppers!

Here's what we need from you: Start thinking about your exclusive item now! We want to feature all participating retailers and their special offerings on our social media channels and website, so the earlier you let us know what you're planning, the better we can promote it.

Please email your exclusive item details by Monday, July 7th to julie@eastonpartnership.org so we can start building buzz and getting shoppers excited about what they can only find during Easton Loves Local week.

With just over a month to plan, now's the perfect time to start brainstorming what special something will draw customers through your doors July 18-27!

Easton Farmers' Market Downtown Deal of the Month

Want to tap into the thousands of shoppers who visit the Easton Farmers Market every Saturday? Our Downtown Deal of the Month program is the perfect way to get your business noticed and drive new customers through your doors.

How it works: We feature one downtown business each month with special deal cards (pictured here) that are handed out at the market's info booths. Customers can bring these cards directly to your business to redeem your exclusive offer.

With thousands of people flowing through the market each week, this is one of our most effective ways to connect market-goers with downtown businesses and build that bridge between the bustling Saturday market scene and our vibrant business community.

Interested in being featured? Send a message to Julie at julie@eastonpartnership.org to get on the schedule. Let's turn those Saturday market crowds into your new regular customers!

SBDC Taste of the Food Industry

Join Lehigh's Small Business Development Center for a dynamic panel discussion featuring seasoned small business owners from the food industry. Whether you run a restaurant, food truck, catering business, or packaged goods company, this event will provide valuable insights and real-world advice tailored to help you navigate the challenges and opportunities of the food business. Learn from your peers, ask questions, and connect with fellow entrepreneurs who share your passion for food and success.

(Wed., June 18th, 8:30-10:30am. 325 Northampton St.)

Project of Easton Graduation

Project of Easton is hosting their graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 24th at 6pm at the State Theatre.

Around 5:30pm, graduates will be walking from their Ferry Street location to the State Theatre in their caps and gowns. These individuals have been working hard studying for citizenship, learning English as a second language, and earning their GEDs.

If your business is along the parade route, consider putting up congratulatory signs, stepping outside to cheer, or simply showing your support in any way that feels right. Let's make this walk feel like the celebration it deserves to be!

This is a chance to celebrate the dedication and achievement of our neighbors who are building brighter futures for themselves and strengthening our community. A little encouragement from downtown businesses would mean the world to these graduates on their big day.

Heritage Day - New Date, New Opportunities

We're moving Heritage Day to Saturday this year! On July 12th, this beloved celebration features historical reenactments including the Declaration of Independence reading in Centre Square, live music, and family activities celebrating Easton's heritage.

We want you involved! We're looking for businesses interested in vending opportunities or hosting indoor activations that give visitors a cool break from the summer heat while exploring what downtown has to offer.

If you're interested in participating or want to learn more, reach out to GEDP Special Events Director Joe Dimeck at joe@eastonpartnership.org. Let's make this year's Heritage Day the best yet!
