NCJFCJ Seeking Applications for Board of Directors
NCJFCJ is seeking applications from judges for the judicial Board of Directors. Please find the announcement below.
NCJFCJ Board of Director Application Recruitment
Dear Fellow NCJFCJ Committee Members,

We hope this message finds you all safe and healthy. We want to thank you for your dedication and support of the NCJFCJ. Your commitment to improving the lives of children and families involved in the justice system, especially during these unusual times, is remarkable and we are each honored to serve alongside each of you.

The application period for judicial Board of Director applications is now open, and we are seeking your help in spreading that news to your judicial colleagues who may be interested in serving. The application period closes at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Applicants must submit a cover letter, a copy of their current resume or curriculum vitae, a signed acknowledgement of the Director Roles and Responsibilities, and an application questionnaire. Additional information regarding the Board of Director application and process can be found online, or by contacting Lauren Morris, Board and Committee Coordinator, at lmorris@ncjfjc.org.

Whether you are considering applying yourself, or encouraging interested colleagues, please do not let the fact travel may not be advisable or possible this summer be a deterrence. The NCJFCJ Nominating Committee has already anticipated these circumstances and will offer virtual interviews.

We hope you will take a few minutes to consider applying or encouraging a colleague to apply. Thank you again for your continued work and support. We wish you all the very best.

Sincerely,
Judge Kathleen Quigley, Chair, Governance Committee
Judge Michael Newell, Vice Chair, Governance Committee
Judge Marshall Murray, Chair, Nominating Committee
Judge Hiram Puig-Lugo, NCJFCJ President-elect and Chair, Diversity Committee
Judge Barbara Mack, NCJFCJ Secretary and Chair, Membership Committee
