Webinar on June 15: Judicial Discussion on Capacity
The Texas foster care system is experiencing a significant strain on placement capacity around the state. Please join the Children’s Commission for a webinar on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 12 - 1pm with child welfare experts to learn more about the State’s foster care capacity needs, where the gaps are, what is driving the needs, the efforts in place to address capacity, and what the judiciary can expect in the coming months.

Judge Rob Hofmann, Senior Jurist in Residence for the Children’s Commission and Judge of the 452nd Judicial District Court, will moderate a discussion with the following panelists:
  • Deneen Dryden, Associate Commissioner for Child Protective Services, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
